Vision and Values
Values
Through the Roof has a set of core values that lead our work and encapsulate and reflect how we do things as an organisation. We have adopted the following five values:
Vision
The vision of Through the Roof (what we want to achieve) is: ‘All people are equally valued, included and participating together in building God’s kingdom.’
Our mission is: ‘Transforming lives through Jesus with disabled people’ – this is why we do what we do.
We achieve this through three strategic aims (how we will achieve our mission). Through the Roof will work together with churches and across people of all disabilities to enable:
✔ Access: For everyone to know Jesus with disabled people fully welcomed into Christian life.
✔ Belonging: For everyone to grow together as the family of God, with disabled people flourishing in community with others.
✔ Commission: For everyone to reflect the character of Jesus, with disabled people making disciples, to the glory of God.
Through the Roof accepts the revelation of the triune God given in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and confesses the historic faith they set out.
